You will hike 3 miles round trip through a slot canyon, with minimal elevation gain, a nice beginner/intermediate hike along a lightly trafficked loop trail located near Las Cruces, New Mexico. You will have an opportunity to see the wildlife ot the area.

Bring 2 liters of water and snacks, hiking boots/shoes. Meet at 8:15 am at Khols parking lot 5680 N. Desert Blvd. to carpool/caravan. (MAP) Plan to leave at at 8:30 am on the dot. It is a 50-60 minute drive to the trail head. For more information, contact Carol Brown 915-630-1424

If you prefer to meet-up at the trail head, use these directions: Take I-10 West toward Las Cruces, Take I-25 North to the Radium Springs Exit 19. Turn left and go 1.7 miles. Turn right onto North Valley Drive--Hwy 185 and drive about 5 miles. There will be a green gate on the left. Parking is along the road.
