Departure: 8:30 AM Franklin Mountains State Park (Tom Mays Unit)

Experience the beauty of the desert on a women-centered hike through the Franklin Mountains. This guided hike along the Cottonwood Springs Trail combines adventure, geology, and connection, allowing

participants to learn about the landscape while enjoying the company of fellow outdoor enthusiasts. It's a welcoming experience for both new and experienced hikers, providing inspiration and support on the trail.

Distance: ~3 miles out & back, Elevation Gain: ~750 ft,

Duration: 2–3 hours (with rest and learning stops),

Difficulty: Intermediate

Bring: Comfortable hiking shoes, plenty of water, snacks, sun protection (hat, sunscreen), and a spirit of adventure

Fee: $5 per person (pay online in advance or at the Visitor Center before joining)
