Step into the rich history and artistry of southern New Mexico! This trip will include visits to: La Luz Pottery and Tularosa Basin Museum It’s a perfect blend of art, culture, and history — with time to learn,
explore, and enjoy the charm of Alamogordo and Tularosa.
Trip Length: ~4 hours (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM in Alamogordo, plus 2
hours travel time)
Difficulty: Easy (museum and site tours, accessible for most participants)
Bring: Water, comfortable shoes, lunch/snacks, sun protection, curiosity!
