Continue your geologic journey in the second installment of the Geo Grand Tours, guided by UTEP geology students. This outing takes participants beyond campus into nearby El Paso sites, where students will highlight unique formations that tell the story of shifting seas, ancient mountains, and volcanic activity. Participants will gain a deeper appreciation of the natural history that surrounds us and see how El Paso’s landscape has been shaped over hundreds of millions of years.
