Desert Ecology: Protecting Our Fragile Ecosystem

Join Park Superintendent, Cesar Mendez, in this interpretive program to learn about the ecology of the Chihuahuan Desert, what threatens the integrity of this fragile ecosystem, and what actions we can take to help protecting it. You will take a short and easy hike, throughout the park but bring water, hiking shoes, and sun protection.

Meet at the park’s Visitor Center. (MAP) Park entrance fee $5. You can pay at the park or online:
